Cradle Carry
CRADLE POSITION

a. Separate the loops and place one arm through one loop, and other arm through
    other loop.
b. Lower the outer loop (the one farthest from your body) from your shoulder so that it
    hangs around your waist.

2. Stretch open inner loop at the center of your body so that it forms a pocket or cradle.

a. Place baby in center of the pocket with your baby’s head toward your shoulder, and
    baby’s legs toward your waist.
b. Make sure that the fabric does not cover your baby’s face and that your baby is
centered in the width of the fabric with an equal amount of fabric on each side of your
    baby's body.

3. Pull the outer loop back onto your opposite shoulder

a. Spread fabric of outer loop over your baby’s back and legs.
b. Reach behind your back and slide support band down so that the loops cross at the
center of your back for optimal lumbar support.

Explore
EXPLORE POSITION

Follow instructions for Cradle Position, however, when placing your baby in the Carrier, place baby
in a more upright position so that

(i) your baby’s head, shoulders and one or both arms are free from the fabric, and

(ii) your baby’s bottom is centered in the width of the fabric with an equal amount of fabric on
each side as if the baby is sitting in the center of a hammock.

Be sure to continue to follow Cradle Position Instructions 3a and 3b after placing baby in the
Carrier.

NOTE: The Explore Position may only be used when your baby is able to hold his/her head upright unassisted.

Adventure
ADVENTURE POSITION

1. Put both loops over your head like a necklace (with support band at back of your neck)

a. Separate the loops and place one arm through one loop, and other arm  through
other loop.
b. Lower the outer loop (the one farthest from your body) from your shoulder so that it
hangs around your waist.

2. Hold your baby securely against your body facing outward, stretch open the fabric of inner loop between your baby’s legs and over baby’s shoulder.

legs and over baby’s opposite shoulder.
b. Adjust fabric between your baby’s legs so that it forms a comfortable and secure seat

Carrier should now fall across your shoulders and your baby’s shoulders, front and
between baby’s legs.

3. Adjust support band and tie sash

a. Reach behind your back and slide support band down so that the loops cross at the
center of  your back for optimal lumbar support.

b. Holding your child securely, place child in Carrier with child’s legs hanging out of Carrier and  straddling your side.

a. Adjust fabric of the inner loop (closest to your body) so that it forms a comfortable and wide hammock-like seat for your child. b. Optional: You may tie sash around you and your baby for added support if you so desire.  Sash may be tied in a single knot at your front, side or back (it looks stylish in any position!).

NOTE: The Hip Position may only be used when your child is able to sit up unassisted. When carrying your child in the Hip Position without the use of the sash, keep one arm encircled around your child’s back at all times for support and balance.
